Assaut des Remparts, medieval festival

If there's one date to remember this summer on the Nozeroy plateau, it's Sunday 28 July 2024!

For more than thirty years now, on the 4th Sunday in July, the paved streets of Nozeroy have welcomed more than 5,000 visitors who have come especially to take part in the famous "Assaut des Remparts". For one day, from 10 in the morning, the gates of the medieval town open to visitors, transporting them back to the magic of the 15th century. The event is punctuated by a host of activities that take you on a real journey back in time.

Dressed in period costumes, craftsmen and women will be busy in their stalls, while acrobats and troubadours will be on hand in the streets to entertain you. And for lunch, forget your picnic: the giant medieval banquet table is waiting for you!
