Edith, a qualified bookbinder, creates Japanese and Coptic bindings, and can also personalise notebooks to your specifications.

She creates paper decorations, Japanese paper, Suminagashi decorations, glue paper and marbled paper.

Length of course for individuals: half-day or full day. The price is €10/hour. Materials and supplies included.

Edith also offers workshops for schoolchildren and children's centres: a creative activity involving the creation of decorated papers and an object, such as a notepad, travel diary or bookmark, using bookbinding techniques. Each activity is accompanied by an exhibition on the theme of bookbinding and the history of written media.

At medieval fairs and exhibitions, Edith gives talks on the history of writing materials and bookbinding, including the technique of working leather in the ligator style!
