Morning: Start the day with a visit to the Grande Rivière cheese factory. There you will discover the different stages of Comté and Morbier cheese production, both of which have the Protected Designation of Origin. Then go to the Abbaye-en-Gandvaux site to discover "The Secrets of the Abbey Lake". A thematic trail will allow you to walk around the lake where a picture silo, a lookout point and a landscape work will help you understand the site and the history of Grandvaux. If you wish, you can continue your visit with a hike to the Belvédère du Moulin (6 km return) for a view of the lake.
Afternoon: The "Roche-cave" trail offers you a one-hour digestive walk in Prénovel, at the place called "La vie des Tours". Not far from there, you can also discover the Prénovel peat bogs, a natural wetland where a 380 m long wooden walkway, marked out with explanatory panels, will allow you to observe a specific fauna and flora. After these walks, treat yourself to a moment of relaxation at "Les 3 Sources" in Chaux-du-Dombief. Spa, sauna and hammam in a warm atmosphere can be combined with a massage for maximum relaxation. Your evening can end with a friendly game of bowling at La Chaumusse.
