Belvédère de la Madone

From the Madone belvedere at an altitude of almost 700 metres, you can enjoy an exceptional panoramic view of the pretty village of Valempoulières, Mont Rivel, the Joux forest, one of the most beautiful fir forests in Europe, and on a clear day, you can even see Mont Blanc.

The statue of the Virgin Mary, located on the promontory, was erected on the site of the château in 1857.
