The Cuchet lookout, overlooking the village of Choux, offers an uninterrupted view of the village and its countryside. It is also a sound site (a site with amazing acoustics), anchored in the valley of the Bienne. Listen out for the sounds of insects, herds below and the wind.

Access: From the RD124 linking Saint-Claude to Bellegarde in the Ain department, take the forest road on the right (picnic tables and moloks), before the hamlet of La Serra. Park in the car park, then walk to the Cuchet lookout (approx. 2km).
