Take a step back in time as Hélène de Brederode, wife of Thomas Perrenot de Granvelle, takes you on a tour of Renaissance Besançon. Fully immersed in the period, you'll meet her in Saint-Jean Cathedral on 30 March 1564. She'll be delighted to talk about her life, her travels, her prestigious family, the complex territorial politics of Besançon and the latent religious tensions between Catholics and Protestants. You're sure to want to join her as she wanders around Besançon, all the way to the Battant district.
