Circuit du Chat Perché

The Chat perché trail is a tribute to the writer Marcel Aymé, author of the Contes du Chat perché, who grew up in Dole.
The tour takes you along a signposted route through the town centre. It has been designed for pedestrians keen to discover Dole's rich urban heritage.
The 4-kilometre route is marked out on the ground, taking you on a journey through eight centuries of Dole's history, taking in the most emblematic monuments, main streets, squares and decorations that adorn the town centre.
A map with short notes, available from the Tourist Office, costs €1 and is translated into foreign languages.
