Circuit VTT n°6 (bleu) - Chavannes - Simandre

Meadows of the Suran valley
Base VTT Espace Revermont - FFCT signposting - n°6 - blue

Pass the Suran bridge and the cheese factory (AOP Comté), take direction Grand-Corent. Before Banchin, turn left and go up the Suran river (see the fords) until the Bouverie mill. At the RD.936, turn left and then right towards the ferme des Pies.
In Chavannes, turn left at the D.3, pass the bridge and the campsite (see : small Suran and wash house). In the village, why not make a detour to the church and its historic streets.
At the intersection with the RD. 42, turn right and then left in the direction of the Clapay wood (to see: the gour de la Rande).
Go to Dhuys, cross the RD.936 to reach the hamlet of Thioles.
In Thioles, take the RD.42 to Simandre.
