Compagnon numérique musée Courbet

The Courbet Museum is offering all its visitors a new experience with a visit companion. This tool is accessible from your smartphone or a tablet available at the museum reception. Do not hesitate to ask for it. The visit companion accompanies you at your own pace throughout the permanent tour and the temporary exhibitions, offering you comprehensive scientific content on the works on display. You can enjoy an express or classic visit of varying length, from forty-five minutes to about two hours.
All the scientific content is accessible to people with special needs thanks to adapted ergonomics, the presence of subtitles, videos in French sign language, audio description tracks and content written in large print for the visually impaired. Foreign visitors can access the content by selecting one of the twenty-one languages available in the visit companion.
The visit companion provides a new understanding of the museum's collections, of the art of Gustave Courbet and of his time.
