In the lake of Ilay, canoeing is forbidden by municipal decree and swimming is tolerated, under your own responsibility. To swim in complete peace of mind and take advantage of the various facilities (beaches, games, etc.) you can go to :
- Lake Chalain
- the lake of Clairvaux-les-lacs
- Lake Vouglans.
Lake Ilay is a preserved and fragile natural area, which is home to many wild species.
It is also the source of drinking water.
