Located on the edge of urbanised areas, the ENS of the Basse Vallée de l'Allan is rich in biological diversity. It is characterised by extensive meadows, alluvial forests and aquatic environments.
The site is home to some remarkable and protected natural species, including the black kite, bank swallow, marsh copper and orchids. It is also renowned for being an important migratory stopover for passing and wintering birds.
There are various information desks and an observatory to help you discover the site.
Parking is recommended at the Allée Henri Hugoniot car park in Brognard, although a second car park is located at Chemin des Combes de bois in Allenjoie.
