Outside his studio, city walls are an opportunity for him to give them a soul and offer a moment of exchange with passers-by and local residents. By adapting his techniques to his supports, GRAFFMATT is never short of inspiration. Figurative and expressive, his works are executed in two stages, which the artist describes as follows: "first the dynamic elaboration of an abstract/graffiti background and then a more detailed and calmer work, then contrasting with the background."

Through this creative process, GRAFFMATT highlights his recycling approach by breaking the codes of a painter as we imagine him. He chooses used brushes to create material effects, ventilation grids as stencil screens and pieces of cardboard to give relief. This mixed technique gives his work dynamism and character. To contrast with this brutality, the artist uses spray cans and markers to refine his portraits and urban landscapes.
