Take a behind-the-scenes look at how cheese is made and matured at Fromagerie Badoz, founded in 1961. You'll be immersed in the heart of the workshops, thanks to our film "Passionate Men, Generous Nature", for a journey to meet the master cheesemakers and ripeners. The experience is rounded off with a spectacular view of the maturing cellars, where you can admire the care that goes into making these exceptional Comtés.
In addition to the traditional PDO cheeses made at Fromagerie Badoz: Mont d'Or, Comté, Morbier, as well as a wide variety of pressed cooked and uncooked cheeses, and a varied selection of Cancoillottes, the shop also offers 100% local and artisanal products. Beer from the La Bonne Bouille brewery in Pontarlier, wines from winegrower Benoit Badoz in Poligny, and charcuterie from Tuyé du Papy Gaby in Gilley all go perfectly with Comtés aged between 4 and 36 months. Local and artisanal products to suit all tastes!
Mélissa and Laetitia welcome you Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 7pm, and on Saturdays from 9.30am to 1pm and from 2pm to 6.30pm.
