The French garden of the castle is considered to be "the most exact and charming in Franche-Comté". The garden was designed in 1771 by Claude-Nicolas Marcellin Seguin de Jallerange, Councillor at the Franche-Comté Parliament. Glacis, pond, amphitheatre, vertugadin, cradles of bower, cool rooms, green room, statues... contribute, in a subtle effect of accelerated perspectives, to the composition of this garden which has preserved all its original authenticity, having always been carefully maintained by the descendants of its creator.
