Jardin - Parc du Château de Montmirey la Ville
The grounds of Montmirey-le-Ville château are open to the public every day of the year from 9am to 7pm. It is 17 km from Dole and 2 km from the Gray road.
It was designed in 1880 by the Besançon landscape architect BRICE Michel, to replace the vineyards affected by phyloxera.
Enter through the gate on the route de Moissey, and follow the arrows (car park opposite the cross pattée, 100 m before the gate). You can see some beautiful trees: cedars, redwoods, Scots pine, Austrian black pine, three-hundred-year-old oak, lime trees, silver linden, etc.
The pond at the end of the route is a mirror of the water, as the castle is reflected in it (take care with young children). On leaving the pond, take the path on the left that crosses the meadow to return to the starting point.
The path is partly shaded (it is forbidden to cycle or ride on horseback).
The park may be closed for maintenance and tree felling.
The château is not open to visitors.
