A day of discovery at the pace of the flora and fauna

Morning: Via Francigena trail and biodiversity. A 9.2 km hike from the town centre along part of the famous pilgrimage route linking Canterbury to Rome. It's a great way to recharge your batteries in the heart of nature and reconnect with the living world.

Hire a canoe, kayak or paddle from the WOKA water sports centre in Avanne-Aveney, and you'll be on your way to a great river trip in an unspoilt natural setting. The only one of its kind in Franche-Comté, the Eco Pagayeur course gives you the chance to navigate in complete safety along natural waterways and discover the flora and fauna that lurk there. You can also hire an audio guide to help you learn more about the local heritage.
Open to all, families and children aged 5 and over, this 8km route offers an exceptional spectacle for a 2 to 3-hour walk, a route that requires no particular physical or aquatic skills. All this while respecting the natural environment!
