Since 2014, La Caborde has been responding to the region's desire for a venue dedicated to wine tourism and offering cultural and unifying events.
Designed by Lédon-based architects Reichardt & Ferreux, the architecture of our Caborde "resonates" with the area in which it is located. An architecture that is "visible" in its vineyard landscape. A building that demonstrates "environmental know-how".
"La Caborde" is one of the local names once given to the dry-stone huts found in the Jura vineyards. A place for storing small items of equipment, but also for shelter, it is also known in the surrounding area as a "caborne", "cadole" or "capette".
The activities and operation of the wine-growing and cultural area, where La Caborde has been set up, are in keeping with the site's philosophy: to promote the region and its resources, whether human, gastronomic, historical, heritage or natural, through events and activities accessible to as many people as possible.
To help you discover the diversity and richness of local wine production in the Cotes du Jura appellation area, La Caborde offers you the chance to manage your own wine tasting and adapt it to your own tastes and desires, thanks to wine fountains that allow tasting by the glass and à la carte.
Locally produced non-alcoholic beverages are also available for consumption, and the panoramic terrace allows you to bring all your senses to your tasting.
