The natural site of La Crochère, at an altitude of 1,100 m, offers a breathtaking view of the Tacon valley and the church of Les Bouchoux. It's also an ideal geological route for admiring the limestone rocks typical of the Jura massif and its unique vegetation (e.g. mountain germander, aizoon, thyme, wild thyme, etc.).
ACCESS: Take the D25 between La Pesse and Les Bouchoux. From La Pesse, head towards L'Embossieux/Les Bouchoux. At L'Embossieux, turn left at the crossroads and continue for 2 km, passing the fire station. From Les Bouchoux, head back up towards La Pesse for 2 km. The Crochère nature reserve is visible from the road. Roadside parking is available.
