La Flânerie d'Audrey is an association based in Fort-du-Plasne in the Jura, right in the heart of nature, which combines donkey rides with animal mediation.

The donkey farm welcomes children, adults, the elderly and people with disabilities all year round. The animal mediation centre is open to schools, leisure centres and specialist care centres.

Audrey, a horehound and animal mediation instructor, offers donkey rides to share a moment with her donkeys, to reconnect with yourself and with nature.

With her many years of experience in environmental protection, Audrey is keen to raise awareness among the people she accompanies of the fragility and beauty of nature, as a way of reconnecting with what surrounds us. And that's why the Jura is the ideal destination for people in search of well-being, nature and tranquillity. Accompanied donkey walks are an ideal way of slowing down to the rhythm of the donkey, letting yourself be carried along and reconnecting with yourself and the living world.

Accompanied walks

In the forest or countryside, the walks are accessible to families and children aged 4 and over. The level of difficulty is easy and the walks last between 2 hours and a full day. There is a wide range of activities to suit all ages.

Days are organised to discover the know-how of local farmers, with tastings of Comté cheese from the fruitières du Grandvaux!

Mini courses are organised for children during the school holidays to introduce budding donkey riders to the world of the donkey!

Donkey mediation

The donkey is a calm, gentle and very endearing animal, with its tender eyes and long hairy ears! Highly receptive and sensitive to our emotions, fragile and vulnerable people, with a difficult life history or going through an ordeal, will feel a great deal of soothing in the presence of the donkey. The donkey is the embodiment of quiet strength, its presence is benevolent and reassuring, and it arouses a great deal of sympathy and sometimes even amusement!

Spring 2024:
Every Tuesday evening, silent donkey walks from 5pm to 7pm.
