La Villa Palladienne - Château de Syam
A unique insight into the lives of the Forge Masters, this tour will take you through a luminous 19th century.
The neo-classical Villa Palladienne is an architectural treasure, built from 1818 onwards by its patron, Emmanuel Jobez. Following the rules of Italian Renaissance architectural genius Andréa Pallodio, the house is built around a peristyle forming a theatre. During your visit, you'll be able to admire a fabulous collection of papers dating from the early 19th century, in an astonishing state of preservation.
The Villa has preserved its period furniture, creating a moving atmosphere that will take you on a journey through the centuries.
Guided tour by the owners. Allow 1h30 and €12 per visitor - Children under 14: €5
Open to the public from 1 May to 31 October inclusive: every day except Monday and Tuesday, from 2pm to 6pm.
