In need of a breath of fresh air and peace and quiet, come and discover this little corner of paradise hidden away on the heights of Arbois, on the edge of the village of Mesnay.
Whether you're passing through the area or walking along the GR59, which runs alongside the garden, don't hesitate to make a diversion and stop for a moment.
Marie-Luce and Philippe will open the doors of their garden, which was created nine years ago.
When they retired, they decided to return to the Arbois region to devote themselves to their passion. Their garden, created from scratch, now boasts 220 species of old roses, dating from the Middle Ages to 1900.
Always on the lookout for new specimens, they never stop adding to their little corner of paradise, year after year, while browsing the various flower markets and other small places dedicated to their needs.
Marie-Luce is passionate about flowers, and roses in particular, and leaves nothing to chance. Everything is meticulously thought through, and the result is more than impressive.
For her part, her husband Philippe has decided to add his own personal touch by including artistic metal structures that he has created over the last few years.
Access to the garden is only possible when the owners are present and the gate to the small access road is open.
