Le Mont Sâla

Mount Sala is located in Switzerland and is 1550m high. Always have your identity papers with you. A beautiful and sportive hike that will lead you to the top of the Mont Sâla after a beautiful ascent through forests, pastures and coombs and will offer you an exceptional panorama on the Mont Blanc.

A bit of history :
At the end of a half-hour climb, you will arrive in a large clearing dotted with summer cottages called "Les Petits Plats": these cottages were used until the 1960s. They were used to house the shepherds during their summer season in the mountains. They were also used to make, store and preserve cheese.

Hiking :
To discover the views, two routes are offered by the Office of Tourism
