The Scènacle is the place where creative energies converge, meet, explore, and exhibit a vision of the world.
The Scènacle, the place of All Possibilities!
The Scènacle alludes to the circle of Romantic artists who met in the Bibliothèque de l'Arsenal around Charles Nodier, Victor Hugo and Alfred de Vigny in 1820. This borrowing shows the attachment of this place to artistic practices, but also to the meeting and networking of creative energies. Nestled at the foot of the citadel, the venue consists of a theatre, a chapel, a reception room, an open-space office, a covered terrace, a hall, a kitchen and a courtyard located in a former cloister. It is the place where creative energies converge, meet, explore, and exhibit a vision of the world.
