Montbéliard la singulière, a Württemberg principality for more than four centuries, celebrates and perpetuates the tradition of the Alemannic Christmas markets every December.
During the festive season, the City of Princes is decked out in lights and invites you to discover its artists, musicians and exhibitions in a procession of gingerbread and mulled wine. With Tante Airie, the local fairy godmother, come and celebrate Advent as a happy memory of your childhood Christmases.
Day 1:
Arrival in the Montbéliard region in the early afternoon and check into your hotel***.
Guided tour of the "Christmas Fairy" in the historic heart of Montbéliard, the City of Princes, and evocation of Christmas traditions (the Christmas tree, Father Christmas, Auntie Airie, etc.).
Discover the Christmas lights: take a free tour of the Montbéliard Christmas market, the sweet alley, the gourmet alley, the illuminations and the street entertainment.
Enjoy a mulled wine or hot drink at the market.
Return to your hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 :
Breakfast. Free visit of the Peugeot Adventure Museum in Sochaux.
Lunch at the museum.
Free visit to the Beurnier-Rossel Art and History Museum or free visit to the Château des Ducs de Wurtemberg.
