Les sources du Cusancin

The Cusancin which draws a lovely valley has two sources. The first, the Blue Spring, also called “Anse” is remarkable for the colour of its water, limpid and intensely blue in clear weather. The second source, referred to as the Green Source, also called “Cuse”, is wilder and livelier with darker colours. Thus, the Cuse and Anse nicely combine to give their names to the village and river.

To get there from Baume-les-Dames follow the direction of Pontarlier / Pont-les-Moulins on the D50 road. In Pont-les-Moulins, turn left in the direction of Guillon-les-Bains on the D21.
