AUDIOVISUAL area
The space proposes in loan and in consultation on the spot a little more than 1000 audio-visual documents all supports, namely more than 530 CD in all the musical styles, as well as CD for the children, 160 edutainment CDRom child, and 330 DVD adult and child (films all styles, animated films, documentaries).
2 listening points and a viewing point allow for on-site consultation in excellent conditions. Cultural magazines can also be consulted thanks to the presence of comfortable seats.

"Computer and training
In addition to the traditional services of lending documents, on-site consultation, and the offer of animation of the establishment, users of the Media Library can benefit from training in computing, multimedia and the Internet. These are provided in the multimedia space of the Media Library, which offers the public 9 networked computer stations equipped with various software, Web cams and headsets, as well as a video projector - a training aid - and high-performance scanning, printing and reprography equipment.
Mylène Paumard, a municipal employee, is in charge of the management and the animation of this space for the general public and the educational structures.
One can follow trainings in office automation (word processing, spreadsheet, slide show etc...), in image, photo and video processing and management, in Internet navigation, in information and documentary research, as well as in the creation of Web pages, and in the mastery of messaging and instant messaging software.
These trainings take place every week on Thursdays from 5:45 pm to 7:15 pm, at a modest cost of 3 € per hour. In addition, the multimedia space of the library is available to all (adults and children) during the 16 hours of weekly opening to the public. You can use the computer equipment and many software for personal use, such as office software, image processing, Internet browsing and communication (email software) etc...
Scanning, printing and reprography of documents for documentary purposes are also offered at a reduced cost.

Animation room
Animations are regularly proposed in a dedicated room, integrated to the Media Library. This room has an attractive layout combining a scenic space, quality sound, light and video equipment, and a warm and attractive aesthetic in keeping with the contemporary style of the establishment.
Throughout the year, the Media Library team offers regular events and shows of all kinds (exhibitions, storytelling, lectures, conferences, as well as concerts, comedy shows, shows for young audiences, theatrical performances and film screenings on the big screen). In parallel, workshops and cultural and artistic activities open to all are offered, as well as "Story Time" every Wednesday morning (at 11:15 am for 3-6 year olds and at 11:30 am for 7-10 year olds - free access), led by the staff and aimed at children. Finally, the animation room is used for artists in residence who wish to develop and work on their shows and creations in a favourable environment and with the help of adapted technical tools.
A service of reception, animation and loan of documents of all supports is assured for the educational or para-educational communities (School / Early childhood / Help to the person / Animation)
Primary and nursery schools, both public and private, benefit from a regular reception of classes allowing, in addition to the loan of documents, to attend quality animations around books, and computer training for all ages and levels, provided by qualified staff.
