The Plateau d'Hauteville, located in the southern part of the Jura Mountains, is a mid-range mountain plateau and an important place for mountain life.
Ski on the plateau, surrounded by unspoilt forests, go snowshoeing for a rejuvenating hike, discover the joys of tobogganing or snowtubing, discover cross-country skiing thanks to the specially adapted equipment at the Espace Ludique, or simply enjoy the fresh mountain air and exceptional scenery of the Plateau d'Hauteville.
If you're lucky and well organised, you can even enjoy a dog-sleigh outing with the musher based at La Praille.
A land of champions, Hauteville is the birthplace of Olympic champion Simon Desthieux. There's even a ski run dedicated to him on the resort!
