Sydom usine de traitement des déchets ménagers

Created in 1988, the SYDOM du Jura, located in Lons le Saunier, is the Jura's household waste treatment syndicate. Thanks to its three facilities, the sorting centre for recyclable waste, the energy recovery unit and the storage centre, the waste of the Jura population is recovered locally.

Visitors to the facilities will be able to discover the itinerary of their yoghurt pot, which is now placed in the blue bin. The centre has been modernised to sort plastic packaging and the tour circuit has been renovated. Not to mention the energy production of the recovery unit for household waste deposited in the grey bin! Composting awareness will also be offered.

The visit is proposed for children aged 7 and over, and includes about 100 steps lasting 1.5 hours. All the documentation on sorting and waste prevention will be available to participants after the visit.

Reimbursement for any group of visitors from the Jura of 50% of the cost of the journey between your place of departure and the C.D.T.O.M. Reimbursement is made by the SYDOM on presentation of the collective transport invoice.

Visits are open to all by reservation (individuals, adult groups, school groups, etc.)
