Accessible holidays in the Val d'Amour
In a warm, unspoilt natural setting, enjoy a holiday entirely tailored to your needs and desires. Whether you're looking for relaxation, adventure or discovery, we offer a tailor-made programme combining cultural visits and outdoor activities. The holiday is fully adapted for people with disabilities.
Day 1
Settle in and relax in your gîte.
Your holiday begins!
Welcome to Gîte Le Fourmilion, a charming stone house fully adapted for people with reduced mobility. Enjoy spacious living areas, three bedrooms (two of which are PRM-accessible) and a fully-equipped kitchen.
For a stress-free arrival, your dinner will be delivered to you: dish of the day and dessert.
Day 2
Supervised discovery of canoeing and kayaking
After breakfast delivered directly to your gîte, enjoy the morning on your own.
Lunch in your gîte, with a starter, main course and dessert, to build up your strength before your first activity.
Glide along the water with a discovery of canoeing in calm water supervised by a certified instructor. You'll discover the River Loue in complete safety, while admiring its exceptional scenery.
Dinner on your own.
Day 3
A tender walk with donkeys
Breakfast at leisure.
Set off on a soothing walk along the banks of the Loue or in the forest, accompanied by our donkey friends. Depending on the weather, we'll adapt the route to suit their well-being.
Don't hesitate to show them your affection - they love to be petted!
Lunch and dinner on your own.
Day 4
Picnic at the Saline Royale
Breakfast at leisure.
Today we've chosen to take you on a tour of the not-to-be-missed Saline Royale, a historic monument listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Stroll through its various exhibitions, its museum dedicated to the architect Claude Nicolas Ledoux and its Centre des Lumières.
As you can easily spend hours in this multi-faceted place, we've put together a picnic lunch for you.
Take a seat in the gardens and savour the moment!
Day 5
Relaxation at the Salins-les-Bains thermal baths
Breakfast, morning and lunch on your own.
Treat yourself to a moment of pure relaxation in the wellness area of the Salins-les-Bains thermal baths. Enjoy a chlorinated saltwater swimming pool, saunas, hammam, jacuzzi and caldarium.
Please contact us for details of access conditions according to age and disability.
Dinner in a local restaurant, with main course and dessert.
Day 6
Horse-drawn carriage ride
After enjoying your breakfast delivered to the gîte, let yourself be carried away by the sound of hooves, comfortably seated in a horse-drawn carriage. An original and peaceful way to admire the countryside.
The rest of the day is free.
A few suggestions: discover Ornans and its Courbet Museum, visit a Comté cheese dairy and meet our local producers.
Day 7
Canoeing down the river or discovering the Source du Lison
Breakfast at your leisure.
There are several options open to you on this last day in the heart of the Val d'Amour. Relive the canoeing experience, but this time with greater ease! Or head off to discover the Source du Lison, a spectacular resurgence of water, with its grotto and enchantingly colourful waterfall.
To round off your stay, your dinner will be delivered to you, a seasonal dish and dessert to enjoy in complete tranquillity.
Close your eyes and remember the memorable moments of your stay.
