Village de Bénonces
The village of Bénonces is dominated by the rocky spur: the Cuny rock. This rock bears a cross which can be reached after a 3/4 hour walk from the village. From there, an orientation table will allow you to admire a superb panorama on the Bugey and the Dauphiné.
Another exceptional viewpoint is the orientation table at Mont Frioland (1029 m) on the Col de Portes. A short walk to the Calvaire de Portes and you can enjoy a view from Mont Blanc to the Cévennes.
From the hamlet of Onglas, it is to the Luizet waterfall that you can reach in about 45 minutes' walk. Here, the river falls from a height of 100 m and then flows down into a gorge to join the Rhône.
