Village d'Ordonnaz
On the site of the old cemetery, around the church, there is an esplanade from which the Mont Blanc chain can be seen, while the Dent du Chat rises nearby. On a clear day, you can admire up to 7 successive planes of mountain ranges.
The small church has a contemporary altar by Alfieri Gardone and stained glass windows by Paul Kallos. Next to it is an old lime tree by Sully, planted in 1601, under the mandate of Henri IV's minister, to house the assemblies of the villagers held after mass to deal with the affairs of the parish.
As for food lovers, they can also take advantage of their visit to Ordonnaz to visit the village dairy which houses a mini Comté museum. In this old cheese dairy (in operation between 1881 and 1969), visitors can discover all the instruments used to make butter and cheese (with an adjoining shop).
