Visite de l’atelier des moulages

The moulding workshop of the Museum of Fine Arts and Archaeology was created in 1959, at a time when there were few structures of this type in France. Originally specialising in the moulding and restoration of mosaics, the workshop has over the years focused its main activity on the latter field. A visit to discover the techniques of moulding and patina, as well as the various reproductions from the collections of the Besançon museums.
