Visite guidée : La tour de la Pelote
A medieval gun tower that was part of the fortification programme drawn up by Vauban in the 17th century, the Tour de la Pelote was ravaged by fire in 2013. The exceptional Vauban-era framework was lost in the fire. In 2016, a major restoration project restored the building to its original architectural glory, using traditional techniques and skills.
Accompanied by a tour guide, discover the history of the district, the context in which the tower was built and the various stages in its restoration. From upstairs, you'll have a magnificent view of the city.
