Take a leap into history by following Hélène de Brederode, wife of Thomas Perrenot de Granvelle, who takes you on a discovery of Besançon during the Renaissance. In total immersion in the period, you will meet her in the courtyard of the Granvelle palace, on this day of March 30, 1564. She will be delighted to talk about her life, her travels, her prestigious family, the complex territorial politics in which Besançon found itself or the latent religious tensions between Catholics and Protestants. She will certainly suggest that you accompany her on her peregrination of Besançon, which will take you to the Battant district.
