Since the World Championships in 1993, the Métabief resort has become the benchmark mountain bike spot in the Bourgogne Franche-Comté region, attracting numerous national and international mountain bike competitions to the heart of the Jura Mountains.
Whether you're looking for downhill, enduro, cross-country or mountain bike touring on the ridges of the Grande Traversée du Jura, Métabief is a resort open to all types of mountain biking.
With 25km of trails for all levels: 2 black, 2 red, 2 blue and 1 green, and a negative vertical drop of 420m, this rainbow domain, accessible to all from the Morond chairlift, offers magnificent panoramic views from the summit of the Mont-d'Or (1463m): on one side, the neighbouring Franco-Swiss Alps dominated by Mont Blanc, and on the other, natural lakes, pine forests and the beautiful Comtois countryside.
