Via ferrata du Regardoir - lac de Vouglans

Via Ferrata level AD (fairly difficult) to D (difficult) (depending on the route taken). You'll find a footbridge, two ladders and a monkey bridge. The 350m-long via ferrata will delight the most experienced climbers with its challenging variants, as well as nature lovers with a 90m footbridge overlooking Lac de Vouglans.

The via ferrata is open from late June/early July to mid-November each year (please ask for exact opening times). It cannot open in the spring because the cliff is subject to a biotope protection order protecting the Peregrine Falcon, which runs from 15 February to 15 June, a period during which all climbing is strictly forbidden. Access to the via is forbidden at night all year round, as well as during heavy rain and thunderstorms.

The via faces due west, so you'll be in the shade until around 1pm. In midsummer, when it's hot, choose a route in the morning or at the end of the day, and don't forget to take water and something to eat if you get tired (energy bars).

Equipment to bring:

Good shoes, walking shoes are ideal, or trainers with a good sole.
A small rucksack for your water bottle, energy bars, etc.
Clothing suitable for sporting activities.

Price of compulsory pass :
5€/person per activity (1 session)
Season pass: €15 per person per activity (unlimited sessions during the season). This pass can be purchased from the tourist information office in Moirans-en-Montagne.
Please note: the Via Ferrata is accessible from 8 years old / 1m25 minimum.
