Creux Maldru

The Creux Maldru is a ten-metre-deep cave in the Mont Noir forest in Foncine-le-Haut, which can be reached by climbing a ladder. In times of war and religious persecution, it was a place of refuge for many people, including four priests who took refuge there between 1791 and 1793.
