Following a fire (23/04/24), the date of opening to the public has been postponed and will be announced shortly. Thank you for your understanding.
Open: April to September
Magnificent stalagmites, columns and countless stalactites form a picturesque masterpiece that is 100% natural.
And to cap off this exceptional discovery, the Grottes des Moidons put on a show for a few minutes: our brand new Son et Lumière show closes the visit.
The guided tour lasts around 50 minutes and includes an introductory film, a tour of the caves and the bat area with its labyrinth for children.
The temperature inside the caves is +10°C. We advise you to bring a jacket in summer.
The Grottes des Moidons are not subject to flooding. Visits are not disrupted in the event of heavy rain.
Since 2014, a new gallery has provided easier access to the caves (visits possible with a pushchair).
PETS ACCEPTED:
Cats and dogs (neither aggressive nor dangerous) are allowed in the cave carried in a pet bag or pushchair, clean, calm, no barking or other noises. Cats and dogs are welcome subject to availability.
