Founded in 1139, the Cistercian abbey of Grâce-Dieu boasts a number of listed buildings, including its church, cloister, mill and barn. The first monks gradually developed the life of the abbey: the land became arable and suitable for rearing livestock. Like all abbeys, the heart of Grâce-Dieu is the church. There is also the vegetable garden, the chapter house, the library, etc. You can discover the rich and eventful history of Grâce-Dieu Abbey along an 8-kilometre footpath.
Since 1927, it has been inhabited by Cistercian nuns.
