Domaine de La Garde - Bourg-en-Bresse

Nestled in a green setting, at the gates of Bourg-en-Bresse with a view of the Brou roofs and the Revermont, the Château de La Garde enjoys a privileged setting. The castle is of neoclassical style. The park has many species from all over the world (cedars, sequoia, etc.) planted by successive owners and also stables.

The castle was built in the 19th century and since the arrival of Friedrich and Margareta von Kirchbach, the estate has become a multicultural place.

The estate is privately owned, but access is possible during events organised throughout the year by the Friends of La Garde.
