Romanesque church with a stone roof that was completely redone in 2013. The parish church of the Assumption has been listed as a Historic Monument since 13 June 1991.
During the repair of its lava roof, water infiltration caused several layers of plaster to fall off, revealing fragments of wall paintings in December 2013.
Removal work was undertaken at the end of 2014. These were 15th century paintings, of exceptional workmanship and surprisingly fresh colours, which appeared on the roof faces of the Church's choir.
It is an illustration of the passion of Christ. This sequence of scenes (seventeen) seems to be unique in France, because of its extent, but also because of its early appearance in the history of what will become later, with the Fransiscans, a "Way of the Cross".
