
Église de Vincelles
The church at Vincelles was served from 1139 by the monks of Baume, who came every Sunday and feast day to celebrate services, and by a vicar appointed by them to administer the sacraments.
The current building has three naves, a chancel, a sanctuary, a sacristy and a bell tower at the intersection of the nave and chancel. It is in the secondary ogival style used in the 14th century, but successive restorations have mutilated it. All that remains of the original building are the main door, two chapel arches and the sacristy. One of the chapels known as de l'Isle was dedicated to Sainte Anne and Sainte Barbe.
