Rebuilt in the 15th and 17th centuries and entirely restored in 1994, the church in Orgelet replaced a building of equal importance constructed in the 13th century and of which very little remains. A fine example of the coloured decorative world which the lords of the Middle Ages lived in, outstanding late 13th-century ornamental tiling, discovered in the ruins of the castle, is exhibited in the church.
The site of the old castle offers a stunning panorama over the town and its surroundings.
