Built in 1899 on a carefully chosen site, this 7-metre-high monument is topped by a statue of Christ stretching out his arms over the land. This original construction was made from stones with holes in a thousand different shapes, found in the karst in the area.
The Way of the Cross that joins it was inaugurated on All Saints' Day in 1899. Previously made of wood, it was rebuilt in cement in October 1933 by Mr EINAUDI. The stations were blessed on 30 June 1935.
