The village has historical and religious monuments:
The church of Saint-Laurent de Sutrieu: the attic of the church of Sutrieu is a shelter for bats and is classified as a type I natural zone of ecological, faunistic and floristic interest.
The chapel of Saint-Maurice de Charancin, whose statue of the Virgin and Child was restored in 2006 by Laetitia Cochet, has been listed as an object in the Palissy database since 1995; in Charancin, we should also note the church of Saint-Oyen de Charancin;
The statue of the Virgin (surmounting a well) in the village;
the Lèbe astronomical observatory located at the Lèbe pass allows the observation of the sun, planets and stars. A 2,300-metre thematic and educational trail devoted to the solar system, the weather and flora, completed by a garden with sundials;
The panoramic sites of Charancin and Cossonod;
A wash house in the village of Sutrieu; another in Mongonod as well as a communal oven
Several old farms typical of the Valromey including the Carrier and Deschamps houses in Sutrieu and the Perron-Bertaud house in Montgonod.
We can also mention the Berthollier house (dating from 1628 according to the inscription on the stable) and the Germain Jean house.
