Dole's major event is the weekend of the Chat perché festival, a tribute to Marcel Aymé (a french autor), who trained here. Every year, during the Chat perché Gourmet Weekend in September, the streets of Dole are transformed into a huge gastronomic festival. Thousands of hungry visitors flood into the streets to enjoy tastings, shows, and entertainment.

La Chaumière offers you two opportunities to savor the cuisine of Michelin-starred chef Joël Césari: a Michelin-starred gourmet restaurant, La Table, and a bistro, La Bagatelle. From Tuesday to Friday lunchtime, the gourmet restaurant becomes a bistronomic restaurant, preserving the philosophy and excellence of the cuisine.

Romuald Fassenet is one of the leading figures in French gastronomy. The chef, a Meilleur Ouvrier de France (Best Craftsman of France) and awarded two Michelin stars since 2006, delights gourmets at the Château du Mont Joly with his refined and creative cuisine.
He also champions fine local produce and enjoys playing with contrasts. Sweet meets sour, smoky marries salty notes, and vegetal blends with woody notes to astonish the palate.

Head to the Brasserie doloise to enjoy 100% artisanal beers, 100% made in Dole. It's the perfect place to sample the house creations: a bucolic setting located atop Mont Roland hill overlooking the city.
