An absolute must, the House of the Laughing Cow® tells visitors all about one of the most remarkable industrial ventures of the 20th century. From Jules Bel's first cheese ripening workshop to the company's latest innovations, this museum takes you back through the history of The Laughing Cow®.
Every tour ends with a tasting session and a visit to the shop.
Head for Courlans, close to Lons-le-Saunier, where Michel Béjeannin, the chef at Auberge de Chavannes, creates an inventive menu inspired by the Mediterranean products that he boldly combines with the traditional flavours of Jura.
Take home some of the delicious products to be found at this traditional cheese shop. The Pianet-Humbey dairy shop in Lons-le-Saunier selects the region's famous cheeses from the best producers and dairy farms: comté, cancoillotte, morbier and more.
Stop to visit the winegrowing village of Montaigu to take home some quality products. The Domaine Pignier exploits a 15-hectare vineyard in the Côtes du Jura AOC. Your visit ends with a tasting of some of the estate's own wines.
