La Maison de La Vache qui rit
The House of The Laughing Cow, in Lons-le-Saunier.
Happy, friendly, and synonymous with the gustatory pleasure linked to our childhood memories, The Laughing Cow ® deserved to have a house that lived up to its reputation.
Created in 2009 on the initiative of Catherine Sauvin, granddaughter of Léon Bel, La Maison de La Vache qui rit is built on the very site where the brand was born in 1921, in Lons-le-Saunier, in the heart of the Jura. Since its opening, La Maison de La Vache qui rit has been the place of reference for the brand's memory. It also offers a unique look at one of the most impressive French industrial and marketing adventures of the 20th century. More than a museum, this house is also a place to reinterpret the DNA of a brand and the values of a family group.
Its modern and timeless scenography retraces the founding of the Group, the creation of its emblematic brand, its many innovations, and its most current concerns and commitment to healthier and more responsible food for all.
It is a place where there is always something going on for young and old alike, because the mission of The Laughing Cow House is also to surprise you through its cultural and artistic programme by associating its values with offbeat proposals. You will have the opportunity to leave with a souvenir made by your own hands and to visit our shop as iconic as The Laughing Cow, so come and experience the benefits of laughter with us!
