The small village of Viry is home to two small country lakes: Lac de Viry and Lac Sous les Mousses.
The Viry site is classified as a Natura 2000 area for its forests, limestone ledges, streams and marshes.

You can't fish or swim in these lakes, but they're ideal for walks and enjoying the peace and quiet of the Haut-Jurassien.
