Cuivrerie de Cerdon

The copper factory of Cerdon is a famous international heritage in the field of the industrial tourism. It is the only site in the World able to tell in situation and real atmospheres the most evolutionary and fascinating 150 years of the story of the workers of the copper (brass workers, embosser, brass beater).
Its visit permits to discover:
- 800m2 of workshops with all the original technical equipment and which energy is provided by paddle wheels
- the very rare demonstration of a know-how on the subject " how to produce a copper object from a sheet?"
The copper factory of Cerdon is part of the" 40 golden selected sites" by the French-Swiss Association "Léman sans frontière"
